The all new Gen 2 Rapid Release Binocular Tripod Adapter is here. The folks at Field Optics Research went back to the drawing board and retooled from the ground up. Now made of hard anodized 6063-T6 aircraft grade AL, the GEN 2 binocular tripod adapter still maintains the rapid release feature and is rock solid when mounted. We also added a third mounting option to the base. Those mounting options are as follows:
1) Arca Swiss direct connect
2) Manfrotto 200PL (RC2) front to back
3) 1/4"-20 on the bottom.
